Renee M. Fairbanks

Renee M. Fairbanks is the founder of Law Office of Renee M. Fairbanks, P.C. She is certified by the State Bar of California as a family law specialist.

Ms. Fairbanks has represented clients in divorce, legal separation, support, parentage, and custody proceedings in Santa Barbara County and the Central Coast for more than a decade.

Ms. Fairbanks is a tireless advocate for her clients. She has successfully represented clients in trials, evidentiary hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations. Ms. Fairbanks is in high-demand among family law litigants in Santa Barbara County and the Central Coast due to her ability to handle complex family law matters.

Ms. Fairbanks has a strong connection with the Santa Barbara County legal community. She is a member of both the Santa Barbara County Bar Association and Northern Santa Barbara County Bar Association. She is the past-president of the Santa Barbara County Bar Foundation. She is a former board member of Santa Barbara Women Lawyers. She is an adjunct professor of law at the Santa Barbara College of Law, where she teaches Community Property. She is a supporter of the Environmental Defense Center, a Santa Barbara non-profit law firm, dedicated to protecting our local environment. She is also a supporter of the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County. She has authored articles in the Santa Barbara Lawyer on the issue of family law. She has also presented on family law to the Santa Barbara Legal Assistants’ Association.

Ms. Fairbanks is a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists and serves on its Outreach Committee. She is also a past-member of the State Bar of California’s Family Law Executive Committee.

Ms. Fairbanks is a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara. She graduated from Santa Barbara College of Law.

Ms. Fairbanks supports various local Santa Barbara charities, including the Fund for Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Courthouse Legacy Foundation, and Animal Shelter Assistance Program in Santa Barbara. She is a past board member of Old Spanish Days, Inc., which plans and organizes Santa Barbara’s premiere festival, Fiesta.

Taylor Fuller

Taylor Fuller

Born and raised in Santa Barbara County, Taylor Fuller is Law Office of Renee M. Fairbanks’ associate attorney. Ms. Fuller is a graduate of Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, California. She attended San Diego State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology in 2014. She returned to Santa Barbara County following college to attend Santa Barbara College of Law. She earned her juris doctorate degree in 2017. Ms. Fuller received the Witkin Award for outstanding academics in Community Property while a student.  She became licensed as an attorney in 2018.
